Aria Souder started writing songs and recording to cassette tapes at the ripe age of three. Although her only performances at that time were in the living room, she continued to write songs, sing and study piano as she grew. She graduated from McNally Smith College of Music with a Music Performance Degree, where she studied Voice, Songwriting and Piano.
After College, she started her self-titled solo project Aria Souder and debuted in Scotland, performing in the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She recorded her first of three recordings 'The end of another story' among Scottish castles on the Isle of Mull. After her return to Minnesota, she began teaching piano and songwriting and performing locally and touring nationally.
Aria loves to encourage, instill passion for music and create goals with students to motivate growth and interest in their instrument. Listeners and musicians alike have welcomed her music to the local scene.
